LetsTalkPPCM is an Award Winning - 501c3 (tax-exempt) nonprofit organization. We strive to save mothers’ lives by bringing visibility, urgency, and action to Peripartum Cardiomyopathy (PPCM), a life-threatening form of heart failure that occurs during pregnancy and postpartum. We transform lived experience, loss, and survival into education, advocacy, and early intervention so no mother is dismissed, misdiagnosed, or left unheard during one of the most vulnerable moments of her life.
We focus on closing the gaps that continue to cost mothers their lives by amplifying awareness, strengthening early detection, and extending postpartum heart health beyond the standard six-week window. Our work centers the voices of survivors and families, supports newly diagnosed mothers with timely, culturally responsive resources, and challenges the inequities that lead to delayed diagnosis. Through education, advocacy, and community-based outreach, we work to ensure symptoms are recognized, believed, and acted on before it is too late.
Our goal is to create a safer future for mothers at risk by increasing awareness, improving early recognition, and expanding access to proper care for Peripartum Cardiomyopathy (PPCM). We are committed to placing life-saving information into hospitals, empowering families with knowledge at the moment it matters most, and ensuring mothers receive the follow-up care and support they deserve. Every donation fuels awareness, early screening, and support for mothers facing PPCM, turning compassion into action and helping save lives, one heartbeat at a time.
